
Emergency Press is based in New York and publishes books of fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and emergent forms that fall outside these traditional categories. EP books are available in bookstores and through major online booksellers. Every year, the press hosts an international book contest.

Eric LeMay has won the 2012 Emergency Press International Book Contest with his manuscript, In Praise of Nothing: Essays and Other Prose. His book will be published in January, 2014, and he will receive a $1000 prize.
